Smoother, more refined skin starts with expert care at PRFCT.

Uneven skin texture can make even healthy skin appear dull, rough, or prematurely aged. At PRFCT, we take a physician-led, strategic approach to improving skin texture by addressing its root causes, not just the surface. Whether your concerns include enlarged pores, acne scarring, roughness, or loss of elasticity, our advanced treatments are designed to restore smoothness, clarity, and long-term skin health.

What Causes Uneven Skin Texture?

Skin texture changes over time due to a combination of internal and external factors. Common contributors include collagen loss, sun damage, acne-related scarring, dehydration, and the buildup of dead skin cells. As cellular turnover slows, the skin can feel rough, appear uneven, and lose its natural radiance.

At PRFCT, we focus on stimulating collagen, accelerating healthy skin renewal, and strengthening the skin barrier to create visibly smoother, more resilient skin over time.

PRFCT Skin Texture Treatments

Each treatment is carefully selected based on your skin’s condition, goals, and lifestyle to ensure results that look natural and feel balanced.

Microneedling

Skin needling is not new, but it is newly popular in the United States—specifically, San Diego. Needling the skin to stimulate new collagen has been used in Europe for at least two decades. Also called Collagen Induction Therapy, microneedling is based on the ability of the skin to repair itself.

Radiofrequency Microneedling (RFM)

Radiofrequency Microneedling utilizes needles similar to a traditional device, but in this case the needles are a delivery service for radiofrequency waves. If your goals have to do with more superficial concerns regular microneedling may do the job. If instead your goals are deeper in the skin Radiofrequency Microneedling will likely be the more effective option.

PixiE Laser Treatment

Introducing PixiE, the revolutionary combination treatment that blends the transformative benefits of Radiofrequency (RF) Microneedling with the precision of Erbium YAG Laser technology. Designed to rejuvenate and revitalize, PixiE is your ultimate solution for achieving smoother, firmer, and more radiant skin.

CO₂ Laser Skin Resurfacing

Our fractionated CO2 Laser provides skin resurfacing by delivering tiny concentrated beams of heat energy into the deeper layers of the skin. This process stimulates new collagen and elastin production. The fractionated method allows for damaged superficial skin to be removed, while the surrounding area is left intact to aid in healing of the treatment area.

Sculptra Injections

Sculptra is an injectable collagen biostimulator. It is made of a biocompatible synthetic substance called Poly-L-Lactic Acid (PLLA). It gradually helps to increase natural collagen leading to restored facial volume and fullness over time. Facial folds and wrinkles are improved, as is the quality of the skin. 94% of clients treated with Sculptra agree that their results still looked natural 2 years after their last treatment.

Radiesse

At PRFCT in San Diego, we specialize in advanced aesthetic treatments using cutting-edge biostimulators such as Radiesse and Sculptra to restore volume, tighten skin, and rejuvenate your appearance. These injectable treatments work by stimulating your body's natural collagen production, providing long-lasting, natural-looking results without the need for surgery. Whether you're looking to smooth wrinkles, contour your face, or lift sagging skin, our FDA-approved biostimulators offer a non-invasive solution that enhances your skin’s texture and elasticity.

Collagen-Boosting PDO Threads

Skin Boosting Threads are a smooth type of PDO (Polydioxanone) thread used to provide targeted improvement and youthful enhancement. PDO threads are made from an absorbable material that is proven to increase collagen and elastin production, thicken skin, improve texture, balance facial shape, and give the skin an overall boost.

Chemical Face Peels

There are various ingredients that can be used in chemical peels resulting in differing depths of peel and a spectrum of skin-transforming results. First, your provider will take an assessment of your skin, and then recommend which peel is best for your skin type and skin goals.

Complementary Skin Care

Professional treatments work best when supported by medical-grade skincare. Our providers curate personalized skincare recommendations to enhance treatment results, support skin renewal, and maintain long-term smoothness.

Results Timeline

Improving skin texture is a gradual process that rewards consistency. Many clients notice brighter, smoother skin within weeks of starting treatment. Collagen-stimulating therapies continue to improve texture and firmness over several months. For best results, we recommend pairing in-office treatments with a customized skincare routine and regular follow-up care.
