Concierge/Boutique Dermatology Clinic at PRFCT

La Jolla, CA | Part-Time or Full-Time | Independent Practice Opportunity

PRFCT is growing. We’re looking for an exceptional Dermatologist to join our team in La Jolla. We are a physician-led medical aesthetics and wellness destination in the heart of La Jolla, founded by Stanford-trained anesthesiologist Dr. Zoe Rafaat in 2011. We are seeking a board-certified or board-eligible Dermatologist interested in building a cash-pay dermatology practice at our established, high-end medical environment so we can continue offering thoughtful, comprehensive care all in one place. If you value clinical excellence, collaboration, and patient-centered care, we’d love to hear from you.

This is a unique opportunity for a dermatologist who wants to practice thoughtful, patient-centered dermatology without the constraints of insurance-driven medicine, while benefiting from shared infrastructure, brand alignment, and an existing patient base.

The Opportunity

The PRFCT dermatologist will have the opportunity to:

  • Establish and grow a cash-pay dermatology clinic
  • Practice general and/or medical dermatology (e.g., skin exams, acne, rosacea, rashes, hair loss, cosmetic dermatology if desired)
  • Operate with clinical autonomy while collaborating within a physician-founded, medically rigorous environment
  • Leverage PRFCT’s:
  • Beautiful and prime La Jolla location
  • Existing patient population
  • Front desk, marketing, and operational support (scope to be discussed)
  • Brand reputation built on trust, discretion, and clinical excellence

This role is ideal for a dermatologist who is:
  • Interested in cash-pay medicine
  • Burned out by insurance models
  • Entrepreneurial but values collaboration
  • Looking to build something meaningful without starting from scratch

Responsibilities

  • Provide high-quality dermatologic care in a cash-pay setting
  • Develop a dermatology offering aligned with PRFCT’s standards and patient experience
  • Maintain appropriate documentation, consent, and compliance standards
  • Collaborate professionally with PRFCT leadership and clinical team
  • Uphold a patient-first, evidence-based approach to care

Qualifications

  • MD or DO, board-certified or board-eligible in Dermatology
  • Active California medical license (or ability to obtain)
  • Strong clinical judgment and ethical standards
  • Interest in cash-pay, concierge, or boutique dermatology models
  • Excellent communication and bedside manner
  • Entrepreneurial mindset with high professional integrity

Compensation & Structure

  • Flexible structure (independent contractor or other arrangement, to be determined)
  • Salary, Revenue-based or rent/space-sharing model (details discussed during interviews)
  • Significant upside potential with minimal overhead compared to traditional practice ownership
  • Schedule flexibility (part-time or full-time options available)

Why PRFCT

PRFCT is not a volume-driven med spa. We are a physician-founded practice built on trust and long-term patient relationships since 2011. Our patients value education, discretion, and clinical excellence — making this an ideal environment for a dermatologist who wants to practice medicine thoughtfully and sustainably.
