Microneedling
Skin needling is not new, but it is newly popular in the United States—specifically, San Diego. Needling the skin to stimulate new collagen has been used in Europe for at least two decades. Also called Collagen Induction Therapy, microneedling is based on the ability of the skin to repair itself.
Radiofrequency Microneedling (RFM)
Radiofrequency Microneedling utilizes needles similar to a traditional device, but in this case the needles are a delivery service for radiofrequency waves. If your goals have to do with more superficial concerns regular microneedling may do the job. Results Timeline
Wrinkle treatment results vary based on the treatment selected and individual skin response. Wrinkle relaxers typically last three to four months, while microneedling and radiofrequency microneedling results develop gradually over three to six months as collagen production increases. CO2 laser resurfacing provides long-lasting improvement when paired with proper maintenance and skincare. PRF results continue to improve progressively over time as the body generates new collagen.
