What to Expect During Treatment

Your VI Peel® journey starts with a skin consultation to select the right formula. During treatment, the solution is applied evenly to your skin. No numbing or sedation required. The process is quick and comfortable, typically taking under 30 minutes.

Post-treatment, expect mild redness and tightness for 1–2 days. Peeling typically begins around day 3 and lasts through day 7. You’ll be provided with a post-care kit and complete instructions to ensure a smooth, safe recovery and optimal results. Sun protection is essential for 2–3 weeks following the peel.

Pre- and Post-Treatment Guidelines

Before Your Peel:

  • Avoid sun exposure, self-tanners, and waxing for at least 1 week before treatment.
  • Discontinue use of retinoids or exfoliating products 3–5 days prior.
  • Let us know if you are prone to cold sores—an antiviral prescription may be recommended

After Your Peel:

  • Do not pick or peel shedding skin. Let it shed naturally to avoid scarring.
  • Use only gentle, approved products and apply SPF 30+ daily.
  • Avoid direct sun exposure, strenuous workouts, and active skincare for 5–7 days.
