Fade Unwanted Ink with Advanced Laser Tattoo Removal

Whether it's a tattoo that no longer reflects who you are, a design you're ready to move on from, or preparation for a future cover-up, laser tattoo removal is a process that's unique to every individual.

At PRFCT, we believe tattoo removal should never follow a one-size-fits-all approach. Every tattoo responds differently based on its age, colours, depth, location, and the way your body naturally heals. That's why every treatment begins with a thoughtful consultation and a personalised plan designed around you.

Treatments are performed by Aesthetic Nurse Kay Karnsomprot, RN, whose background in emergency medicine and passion for patient care bring a level of clinical precision and compassion to every appointment. Her understanding of skin health, anatomy, and healing allows her to safely guide patients through each stage of the tattoo removal process while setting realistic expectations from the very beginning.

Whether your goal is complete removal or simply creating the ideal canvas for new artwork, we're here to help you move forward with confidence, one treatment at a time.

What to Expect

1

Consultation & Assessment

Every tattoo is different. During your consultation, Nurse Kay will evaluate your tattoo's size, colours, age, location, and your skin type. Together, you'll discuss your goals, expected results, and receive a personalised treatment plan.

2

Your First Treatment

If you're a good candidate, your first Q-Switched laser treatment can be performed during the same appointment. Protective eyewear is provided, and the laser delivers precise pulses that begin breaking down the tattoo pigment beneath the skin.

3

Healing Begins

It's normal to experience temporary redness, swelling, tenderness, and whitening immediately after treatment. Some patients may also notice mild blistering or scabbing as the skin heals. You'll receive detailed aftercare instructions before leaving your appointment.

4

Gradual Tattoo Fading

Over the following weeks, your body's immune system naturally clears away the fragmented ink particles. Tattoo removal is a gradual process, so fading becomes more noticeable with each treatment rather than all at once.

5

Continue Your Journey

Most tattoos require 6–10 or more treatments, typically spaced 8–12 weeks apart. The exact number of sessions depends on factors such as the tattoo's colours, depth, age, placement, and your individual healing response.

Pre- & Post-Treatment Guidelines

Preparing for your appointment and following the recommended aftercare helps support proper healing and the best possible tattoo removal results. Here are a few important guidelines to keep in mind.

Before Your Treatment

  • Avoid sun exposure on the treatment area for at least two weeks before your appointment. Recently tanned skin may need additional time before it can be safely treated.
  • Arrive with clean skin free of makeup, lotions, oils, deodorant (if applicable), or topical medications on the treatment area.
  • Let us know about your medical history, including pregnancy, breastfeeding, medications, recent cosmetic procedures, cold sores, or any history of keloid scarring or poor wound healing.
  • Stay hydrated and, when appropriate, avoid blood-thinning medications or supplements for 24–48 hours before treatment unless directed otherwise by your physician.

After Your Treatment

  • Redness, swelling, tenderness, and temporary whitening of the treated area are normal and usually improve within a few days.
  • Do not pick or pop blisters if they develop. Allow the skin to heal naturally to reduce the risk of scarring.
  • Protect the treated area from the sun and apply SPF 30 or higher once the skin has healed. Sun protection is essential throughout your treatment series.
  • Cover the area with a non-stick dressing if clothing may cause friction or if blistering develops.

Tattoo Removal   Journey?

Every tattoo, and every person, is different. While many tattoos can be significantly faded or removed over time, the outcome depends on factors such as the ink colours, depth, age of the tattoo, its location on the body, and your body's natural healing response.

Whether you're hoping for complete removal or preparing for a cover-up, you'll leave with a clear understanding of what to expect throughout the process. If you're ready to take the first step, we're here to help you move forward with confidence.
