Tough on acne. Gentle on skin.

Omnilux Clear is the only flexible, home-use LED mask to have cleared FDA, TGA, and CE regulatory review specifically for treating acne. It pairs blue light, which targets the bacteria driving breakouts, with red light, which calms the inflammation and redness that follow.

Most topical acne treatments work by disrupting the skin barrier. This doesn't — which makes it a sustainable option for skin that's already irritated, or for anyone who has cycled through actives and come out drier without coming out clearer.

Clinically proven benefits

  • Reduces active acne and blemishes, redness and inflammation
  • Helps clear breakouts faster
  • No stinging, peeling, dryness, or downtime
  • Layers safely with your existing routine, including actives
  • Ten-minute hands-free treatments in flexible silicone that molds to the face

It's PRFCT for

  • Mild to moderate inflammatory acne that hasn't responded to topicals alone
  • Skin gone dry, tight, or irritated from benzoyl peroxide, retinoids, or acids
  • Teens 14+ and adults working through hormonal breakouts
  • Anyone who wants a non-prescription option they can sustain long-term
  • Maintenance between in-office treatments, or at the first sign of a flare

Not the right fit for active cystic or nodular acne, which needs prescription management.

Important safety information

DO NOT use the Omnilux Clear™ if you are a child under 14 years of age. The safety of the device for children younger than 14 years of age has NOT been tested and the risk is unknown.

DO NOT use the Omnilux Clear™ device to treat any other conditions apart from those listed in the indications for use (mild to moderate acne vulgaris). The Omnilux Clear™ device has not been tested for any other conditions than those listed, and the risk is unknown.

I recommend Omnilux Clear constantly, usually to the patient who has already tried everything topical and whose barrier is paying for it. Blue light works on the bacterial side of acne without the collateral damage, so you can keep using it while your skin recovers from whatever stripped it.

What I emphasize most is that consistency beats intensity. Four ten-minute sessions a week for six weeks is the protocol that was actually studied, and twice a week will not get you there. Put it on while you answer emails. After the initial series, pull it back out the moment you feel a flare coming — that is when it really earns its keep.

It will not replace prescription therapy for cystic acne, and it is not a scar treatment. What it is: the best at-home tool I have found for keeping mild to moderate acne quiet without wrecking the barrier.

How to use

Four 10-minute treatments per week for 6 weeks. After the initial series is complete, use at the first signs of a breakout.

  • Charge your controller, then connect it to the device
  • Prepare your skin
  • Secure the device to your head using the velcro straps
  • Start the 10-minute treatment
  • Remove the mask and apply moisturizer to skin
  • Gently wipe down the mask
